I do appreciate the work codeproject programmers are doing! I enjoy using this and will help if I can.
Note Following:
LPR would not work with 2.3.4 no matter what I did so I uninstalled. I finally found 2.2.4 and now I'm up and running but only when in CPU mode for LPR.
I would be interested to know how to trouble shoot the following:
What does LPR not work in "cuda" mode w/2.2.4 and other versions? Works ONLY in CPU mode for my pc on all versions. In the case of 2.3.4, LPR does not work in any mode.
Yolo 5.6.2 has never worked on any version I've tried.
For the love of AI, can someone please let me post without being blocked? plez plez.

If you can let me know what errors (install, running, computer exploding - whatever) was happening with ALPR I can troubleshoot.
ALPR is working like a bought one on our GPU machines here, so not sure what's happening with you. My guess: CUDA. And Python. And probably drivers. Let me know your combo and I can think it through.
(I've given you trusted poster status. Next time you log in you should be good to go.)

"Training for YoloV5 6.2" module was installed successfully on v2.3.4.
I can see the train tab in Explorer but having a hard time getting started.
Is there a blog article or how-to guide?
How many images do I need?
How do I tag each image?

562 has NEVER worked on any version I've tried. I would also be interested in to deep diving this.

Any anyone know how to use the train model feature?

Hello !
Is it possible to add custom models to the Coral Object detection module ?
I am running CP on Docker (RPI5) with the google Coral. I would like to add the ipcam-combined and ipcam-dark custom models from GitHub - MikeLud/CodeProject.AI-Custom-IPcam-Models[^]
The instruction at How to Use a Custom Model in CodeProject.AI Server in Docker[^] tells me to add file to the /app/AnalysisLayer/ObjectDetectionYolo/custom-models directory, but the directory AnalysisLayer does not exist in my container.
Can some one tell me where to put the models and should I use the ipcam.pt, ipcam.onnx or RKNN files ?
(I can of course map a local directory to the container if needed, as in the instruction above).

I would love to know as well, the default mobilenet ssd is not the best I'd rather use ipcam-combined.

I would love to be able to do this as well. Any idea if customer models will be available with the Coral TPU?

Custom models are not yet possible with Coral Object Detection, but it is something that is being actively worked on.

Great, looking forward to it.
(Made a temporary jump to Frigate in order to use my Coral effectively).

I have been working on getting my custom models to work with the Coral.

This is really, really exciting! If you need any help with anything while you're testing your models and the Coral (which I use today, but separately for now ), I'd be happy to beta test anything or help out. Really appreciate you working on porting these!

We have no plans to include modules that make API calls at this point.

Hi, Chris
I've manually installed VC C++ redistribuatable. I then succesfully installed Codeproject.ai server.
But, when I'm launching the server web page (localhost:32168), the browser reports "page not found".
I then checked if the codepriject.ai server service was installed but could not find it in the list of services. I then tried to execute the codproject.ai installer as admin. Still unsuccesfull in opening the server web page.
Would very much appreciate further guidance on troubbleshooting.
BR,
Simon

More information and solution:
After checking the event log, I was able to identify an error message from codeproject.ai complaining about .NET7 runtime environment. I then did a repair of .NET7 desktop runtime installation. It still failed. But, after installing
Microsoft ASP.NET Core Runtime 7.0 and reinstalling codeproject.ai I was able to open the codeproject.ai web page with the local host. So, now everything works.
Hope this thread can be usefull to others experiencing the same problems.
BR,
Simon

Hi everyone, I did read the "README" at the top that says "The KB5025221 update has been reported as causing troubles" but that was in April. I do have that update installed, and it has now moved down a lot in the update queue. I'd hope it is not the case anymore? I am seeing the following errors when trying to launch the server:
Installed 2.3.4 beta, and I see this:
Application: CodeProject.AI.Server.exe
CoreCLR Version: 7.0.1423.51910
.NET Version: 7.0.14
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'CodeProject.AI.SDK.Common.SystemInfo' threw an exception.

at CodeProject.AI.SDK.Common.SystemInfo.InitializeAsync()
at CodeProject.AI.Server.Program.Main(String[] args)
at CodeProject.AI.Server.Program.(String[] args)
Removed it, installed 2.0.8 that I had working in the past; no go, and I see this:
Application: CodeProject.AI.Server.exe
CoreCLR Version: 7.0.323.6910
.NET Version: 7.0.3
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.

Does anybody have a suggestion?
Thanks!

System information:
Intel i7-4970k, 32Gb RAM, no overclocking or anything nonstandard
Windows 10 Pro 22H2, patched up to date
Nvidia T600 video card (CUDA was working before with CP.AI 2.0.8 but not too relevant here, as it is the server that I can no longer start).

If you're upgrading from 2.08, we recommend uninstalling 2.08 entirely first. Our installer setup is entirely different now.

I have uninstalled completely; reinstalled 2.0.8; uninstalled 2.0.8; installed 2.3.4 from scratch; uninstalled completely, deleting the directories manually, if left over. Nothing helped. CPAI is now not running at all.
Looks like it is not compatible with updated Windows, at least with whatever registry entries are left over on my machine.
